ZFC Match Day 5 saw two red cards. Mazaher Ismail and Sajjad Najarali both saw red.

This week saw the second and third dismissals of the season with Mozambique Stars’ Sajjad Najarali sent off for violent conduct and Chipolopolo’s Mazaher Ismail seeing red for swearing at the referee.

Both players will serve a two match suspension, which means they will be unavailable for selection on 7th December and 14th December.

The remaining fixtures have been finalised and can be found on stats.zanzibarfc.com.

Due to a conflict with the program scheduled at Bathurst, there are no games scheduled for Saturday, 23rd November. The season will resume on Saturday, 30th November.

Games scheduled for 23rd November will be re-scheduled at a later date in the season.

It has been a long time coming, but the 2013/2014 Zanzibar FC season kicked-off in record breaking style.

For the first time is ZFC history, there are 10 teams taking part with a total of 120 players.

The opening weekend saw a staggering total of 36 goals including three hat-tricks and one four-goal haul.

The full Zanzibar FC fixture list has been released. The season will kick-off on Saturday, 19th October.

Dates for the first eight match weeks taking place in 2013 have been confirmed. Dates for the 2014 games will be confirmed soon.
