Mohammed Mandan has ordered a life-sized statue of himself to keep in his Toronto home. The AFC Leopards striker, who was on Tuesday fined €10,000 (£8,600) for making an “insulting gesture” towards Taifa Stars supporters at the end of the match on Saturday, has contacted a local artist to make the statue, in order to “immortalise” himself.

Gymkhana say striker Mohamedali “Monty” Karim acted “wholly unprofessionally” after his apparent attempt to open talks with Gor Mahia without the clubs permission.

The striker arrived at the Gor Mahia training ground on deadline day, but Gymkhana stated no fee had been agreed and he was not free to discuss personal terms.

In a sensational turn of events, ruthless AFC Leopards boss Shahid Jaffer has axed his two new signings within 24 hours of their move from Gymkhana.

New signings Abbas Hasham and Nabil “Une bête” Jetha have been transferred to Mozambique Stars and Gor Mahia respectively.

Sibtain Merchant (Mozmbique Stars) and Ali Jaffery (Gor Mahia) make the move the other way to AFC Leopards.

With only a few days to go before the transfer deadline, African sensation Mohamedali “Monty” Karim, is shipped off to Gymkhana after a bust-up with his former AFC Leopards team mates during their 4-1 defeat by Manama FC.

The four way trade also involves Tahir “TJ” Jaffer making his way to Gymkhana with strikers Abbas Hasham and Nabil Jetha crossing the Sahara to AFC Leopards.
