Falling down: Young takes a tumble against former club Aston Villa
There must have been something in the air at the end of November with four players withdrawing from Zanzibar FC with injuries.
Taifa Stars’ Sibtain Merchant, who joined the league as a replacement for the injured Meisham Molou, is out for the season with a knee injury and will be replaced by Zishan Alibhai.
Polisi Dodoma’s Minhal Yusufali is ruled out due to an ankle injury and will be replaced by Ali Khalfan.
Chipolopolo captain Adil Champsi’s knee gave way and he will be replaced by Hussein Walji. Adbul Champsi will take over as the Chipolopolo gaffer.
Mogoka FC’s Sarfraz Pyarali is also out due to a knee injury and his replacement is the 2009 African Player of the Year, Mohamedali Karim.
