With over half of the season complete, Kakamega Homeboyz FC are the team to beat in this years’ ZFC campaign.
The Homeboyz trounced title rivals the Indomitable Lions 4-0 in a very one sided match to go top on goal difference.
The top two teams have opened up a 5 point gap on the chasing pack, but with 8 games to go the title is still up for grabs.

Injury update:
- Azeem Amir (Indomitable Lions) is out with a knee injury and is replaced by Hussein Alhussein
- Kumail Khalfan (Indomitable Lions) is out with a knee injury and is replace by Zaheer Rahim
- Mohamedhassan Hassanali (Polisi Dodoma) is out with a broken finger and is replaced by Sameer Gulamali
