Vincent Kompany celebrates scoring City’s fifth in a 5-1 victory at White Hart Lane

With over half of the season complete, Kakamega Homeboyz FC are the team to beat in this years’ ZFC campaign.

The Homeboyz trounced title rivals the Indomitable Lions 4-0 in a very one sided match to go top on goal difference.

The top two teams have opened up a 5 point gap on the chasing pack, but with 8 games to go the title is still up for grabs.

Week 10 saw 3 suspensions being served:

  • Taha Ali (Kakamega Homeboyz FC)
  • Nayu Akbar (Polisi Dodoma)
  • Mohamed Walli (Mogoka FC)

Injury update:

  • Azeem Amir (Indomitable Lions) is out with a knee injury and is replaced by Hussein Alhussein
  • Kumail Khalfan (Indomitable Lions) is out with a knee injury and is replace by Zaheer Rahim
  • Mohamedhassan Hassanali (Polisi Dodoma) is out with a broken finger and is replaced by Sameer Gulamali
