Andrey Arshavin reacts as news of the trade filters through the footballing world
With the season opener only days away, Mozambique Stars and Kaizer Chiefs have finalised a spectacular trade.
The Kaizer Chief boss, Hassan Syed, who is known for his shrewd business acumen acquired the services of Payam Zahedi and Mehrab Salehi from the Mozambique Stars with Shaneh-Abbas Jaffer and Javad Champsi heading in the other direction.
Mazahir Najarali couldn’t hold back his delight after securing the services of Javad Champsi. “I’ve admired the footballing brain on this kid for a while. His passing, movement, positional play is sensational. And when you think that he’ll be playing in the middle with Mo Imran Amirali, I’m lost for words.”
“I have to say that Javad is the missing piece to my long awaited league and cup double.”
